The ingredients have been sourced globally. many of the crops have been grown organically by indeginous cultures around the world. Aveda prides themselves on forging partnerships with indigenous communities from which they derive sustainably harvested pure ingredients. Just some of the ingredients found in the products are mineral rich salts from the Dead Sea, Babassu Nuts, iceland Moss, Wild Cherry Bark, Quinoa Protien, Organic Honey, marshmallow Root, and Morikue Protien from the Peruvian Rainforest  - just to name a few!
